Shopping Review- Silver & Pashmina Scarf

Jodhpur the shopping destination of India. There are loads of shawls here as well as silky scarves.  I expored over there  the silk. Silk over there was so soft and shiny that no customer can deny to buy it.I ended up with a silky pashmina mixture scarf. Luckily backpackers are always up for trading.

The prices here were much cheaper than Pushkar and Udaphir. Basically, shopping in India is the best in jodhpur and you’re just going to have to give in and buy another bag to carry. And markets over there are so sorted and differently divided that people can shop well over there.
If you’re serious about shopping and shipping home decor out of India, check out one of the many export warehouses in the city, and go to Ghanta Ghar market. The best collection and mixture of full handicrafts, silver, spices, bangles and much more is there.

Shopping Review- Ghanta Ghar

Clock Tower or Ghanta Ghar is among the best places to shop in Jodhpur. Visit this market if you want to carry home the finest variety of spices, especially Mathaniya’s red chili.
Other stuff that you can buy from this market include handicrafts, flavored teas, hand-embroidered fabrics, and antiques.

Get amazing stock here, sold by smiling shopkeepers but do negotiate for prices as you might be recognized as visitors and offered goods at inflated prices.
When fatigued after a shopping spree here, sip on Makhania lassi, which is believed to be the best lassi in the world by locals. Also gobble shahi samosa to give a wonderful closure to your experience of shopping in Rajasthan.

The clock tower is popular landmark in the old city. The vibrant Sardar market is close to the tower, and narrow alleys lead from here to a bazaar selling vegetables, spices, Indian sweets, textiles, handicrafts and silver.
It is a great place to ramble around at leisure.
